From the good people who brought us Gears of War, Epic Games have been working hard at porting their excellent and popular 3D engine the Unreal 3 engine to the iDevices (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, etc.). Their project (called Project Sword back then) was introduced to the world during Apple’s Music Keynote and it looked amazing. The project’s name has now changed to Infinity Blade and Epic scheduled a holiday release for the title, though they haven’t really given a proper release date.
Expect to play this title sometime this holiday season, and in the meantime, check out their Epic Citadel demo they have on the App Store if you still haven’t.
