Nintendo surprisingly announced the new 3DS today in a Nintendo Direct session. the device will be available in Japan on July 28th.
important thing to note:
+ bigger screen (90% more screen?)
+battery life (slightly better)
+4GB SD card (instead of 2)
– no second analog (?)
-no increase of the screen res?
-same Camera (seriously?)
-Still region locked
-No AC adapter
+available in three colors
+190$
The system will launch with New Super Mario Bros 2 and Brain Age 5 so sales should be really good for Nintendo.

Hmm, if i ever got into the next gen handheld then i’ll pick up this with the vita. But, they really failed by not adding the second analog lol. We STILL have to buy it as an accessory.
