Endings that sucked

as discussed in Episode 8 we would like to gather a list of the worst endings in videogames, specially the ones that felt rushed and made no sense.

The list will be discussed in Episode 9 or 10.

    By far the most game with bad ending would be World of Warcraft!
    When you see most of the world affected by the final boss and you defeat it in a very average fight compared to previous bosses, that makes me wanna 6ooo6 the 6ooo6in 6ooo6 of blizzard!

    I’d have to say most of the really old-school games on the NES, Genesis, where the end screen was nothing but a block of text, no graphics, and you’d have to use your imagination to picture and ending of sorts. At it’s time, there weren’t many games which featured endings graphically drawn, but if some managed to do it then the others have no reason not to… Except for being lazy.

    I would like to add another game/experience:

    Even though the slogan “Finish the fight” was written in bold on back of the Halo 3 box, and knowing what the ending would be like, I was kind of let down when you see that Master Chief disappears (dies?) in the end. They did specify that it would be the last game for Master Chief, and interpreting the ending would logically conclude the series with his death, however; the fans wouldn’t let it die and insist that Master Chief indeed didn’t die for several reasons.

    I really wanted another Halo game starring Master Chief, it’s just sad to see them let go of a beast of a Spartan and let it die of just like that. O.D.S.T was a prequel of sorts (which kind of sucked) and featured normal soldiers so it wasn’t as fun, while REACH supposedly has the earlier Spartans so it would come maybe a little close to what a Halo 4 would feel like in the hands of Master Chief.

    Finally, White Knight Chronicles had a rushed ending of sorts, it’s one of those games that, through it’s ending, make you feel like you were playing a demo compared to what they would reveal in the next game (watch the ending and you’ll get what I mean). This explains why they decided to add the first game to WKC 2 to stop people from rage-quitting.

    Sorry for such a long comment, but what I covered needed to be said.

  5. I would say MGS4 ending was one of the worst ever…
    big boss appearance made no sense whatsoever! specially after finished the perfect story telling in MGS3, MGS4 felt was rushed and they were pressured to make all the chars appear and cluster the shit out of them together.
