Capcom Japan has revealed today more information regarding their collaboration with Universal Studios Japan. The collaboration will aim to create the locations and monsters from the game in real life including a 1:1 full scaled model of the Rathalos Rare Species, commonly known as the Silver Rathalos. It is said to be over 20 meters long.
As August approaches, more monsters are expected to be revealed. Example: Jinouga, Doboruberuku, Tigrex Subspecies. etc.
There will also be a replica of the Spa House and maybe Yukumo Village itself in Studio 8, as well as a realistic creation of the weapon and armors.
In addition to these real life reproductions, Capcom will hold a Time Attack tournament much like what they do at the MonHan Festivals. And of course, what kind of Monster Hunter event would it be without MonHan-themed food and merchandise? Both will be there.
