To everyone who complained and were skeptical about the gem system and how will it could ruin tournaments, they’ll be pleased to know that Capcom listened and just announced that gem sets can be saved on a USB drive (custom colors too?).
Will this fix redeem this game to be tourney worthy ?

I hope the community ignores the gem system all togather. ps3 only has 2 usb inpus, xbox 3. plugging usb + upload time will make this thing bad and boring.
although we still have the issue of the upload time, it contains gems +button config. so that might actually save some time since you don’t need to enter character select twice for button check.
I really think gems add more flavor and depth to the game and i hope they remain in the scene. Especially after seeing so many time outs in the FC stream, i think gems are necessary for that extra boost.
