Still Want to Line Up For Monster Hunter?

The date today is the 1st of December 2010. This marks a very important event that is happening in Japan as we type this: the release of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd on the PSP!

In what seems like queues of thousands of Monster Hunter fans have been in line since morning, it won’t be surprising to see the game sold out everywhere. There may also be a case of shortages as well. Remember, pre-orders were sold out way before release so it’ll be hectic (and quite difficult) to get yourself a copy soon.

Here are some pictures of some queues in different parts of Japan, courtesy of Adriasang and Hachimaki.

Excerpt from Adriasang:

There have been some reports that if you don’t have a pre-order, you may not be able to get a copy of the game and you definitely won’t be able to get a copy of the limited edition PSP hardware bundle. This is presumably why people are lined up outside the Shinjuku Yodobashi Camera and the Akihabara Yodobashi Camera in these pics.

I wish it was this popular in the west, they’re really missing out on some real hunting!
