Namco Bandai recently announced at a holdings meeting that come 2nd of April a new studio called Namco Bandai Studio will be formed to help streamline development for their popular titles. More info about this after the jump!

Namco Bandai Holdings announced the opening of their new development company, Namco Bandai Studio. What they essentially plan to do is use Namco Bandai Studio as the development wing of Namco Bandai Games, with current projects like Tekken, Soul Calibur, and Gundam all coming together under a single company. This will help streamline development, as well as make the whole process much quicker in the future. This is all set to go into effect starting April 2nd. Namco Bandai Studio’s official responsibilities include planning, development, and management for games on both console and in arcades, as well as their network contents. Hopefully this also means speedier turn around on translations for other markets, but that remains to be seen.
If this means they could make more titles in shorter development cycles then that would be great.
