Capcom made formal announcement today of Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City’s Japanese release date. As widely reported earlier in the week, the game will be released in Japan, with the usual name change from Resident Evil to Biohazard, on April 26, priced ¥6990 on both PS3 and Xbox 360. The game carries a D CERO rating.
Joining the standard edition, Capcom will sell a Limited Edition exclusively through e-Capcom. The ¥9,490 set includes a copy of the game, a 40 page full color Raccoon City Concept Guide book, a Raccoon City Secret Report DVD with making of footage and trailers, a stealth-themed IC card case, an IC card stealth sticker, and an original box.
