Sony just released some info regarding when we’ll see the portable chargers landing in stores. Check out the Japanese release dates and price tags after the break!

Sony has shared final release dates for the PlayStation Vita Car Adapter and Portable Charger units that were shown at Tokyo Game Show last year.
The Car Adapter will be released on March 22, priced ¥1,500. The Portable Charger will be released on April 5, priced ¥4,500.
The Portable Charger can be used to recharge your system on the go. It has 5,000mAh capacity, enough to recharge the Vita 1.5 times. It takes 7 hours to charge the Portable Charger itself. You’ll need to use the AC adapter and USB cable that came with your Vita.
If you travel a lot this will be a necessary item to have. What do you think of the price point though?
