It seems that Miyamoto will be revealing a new Mario game for their newest console this E3. The game will combine the Wii U’s tablet controller as well as the TV. Read more about it after the break.
Via VG24/7:
Speaking in an interview with the paper (via GAF), Miyamoto said the game would combine the use of the tablet controller and the TV.
He added he was still interested in doing something with the Wii Music IP.
“It is always sad that something is not sold as well as expected” Miyamoto said.
“I think these negative experiences on a project is a thorn that is stuck, so we usually try to work the best idea or at least take it up and concretize it from an angle different for use in another title.
“[But] yes, I want to do more with that idea.”
Nintendo is supposed to be having a big show this E3 where they should unveil more specifics about their Wii U as well as show more of the unique titles that are planned for the device, and Mario being Nintendo’s flagship franchise is always a good thing to have in the Wii U’s arsenal.
