Fighting game developers are going nuts! Arc System Works will be showing an updated version of Guilty Gear: Accent Core Plus to the arcades at AOU 2012 expo. Check out some screenshots and more info about it after the jump!

Arc System Works will be showing the latest entry in the Guilty Gear series in video form at Sega’s booth at this weekend’s AOU Amusement Expo event. The new game is titled Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus.
According to the information page at Sega’s AOU portal, the game will retain all the gameplay systems from Guilty Gear XX, but will add the refinements one would expect of an Accent game. It is, in short, the “complete” form for the series.
This could be a first move for Daisuke Ishiwatari (the producer of the franchise) to test the waters of the Guilty Gear franchise, possibly paving the way for a new entry to the series.
