Seems like we’ll be getting an HD re-release for the PlayStation Store. More info after the jump.

According to new ESRB ratings for those GTA games, expect them to show up as PS2 Classics on the PlayStation Store soon, not HD re-releases with cleaned up graphics as smoother frame rates. Both GTA III and Vice City for PS3 are listed as being published by Sony Computer Entertainment America — not Rockstar — just as Capcom’s God Hand, Atlus’ Odin Sphere and Konami’s Ring of Red.
With GTA V coming down the horizon, it’ll be great to catch up if you missed all the GTA action the past years.
