Gaming: E3 2011 Most Anticipated
E3 2011 is finally here! The most important event in the world of gaming is almost upon us. In just a few days the top game developers will battle it out in hopes of being the ones with the most coveted releases. Gamers and geeks will unite all filled with excitement. Its like christmas but the gamers version. There are a lot of games that caught my attention over the few months and in true Print My Hoodies clothing and E3 fashion theres always a few hidden surprises. As for the games that we know about, I’ve listed the ten that I’m personally the most excited about.

OK, so here are the games that I am looking forward to the most:
1. Battlefield 3
Battlefield looks INSANE! Everything from the graphics to the game mechanics and storyline have all been revamped with HUGE attention to detail. This game just blew me away and normally I would be rooting for Call Of Duty because of the multiplayer aspect, but this is just something else! The video shows intuitive gameplay mechanics that have never been implemented in any other video game, ever. The environment is so much more lifelike, you really feel like your living that moment instead of playing it. With bullets flying around and soldiers yelling out commands, Battlefield 3 has really taken gaming to another level.

2. Assasins Creed: Revelations
ALTAIR IS BACK! what more can you ask for? Assassins Creed has by far the most beautiful and detailed atmosphere that I have ever seen in a game without a doubt. I would more that often find my self climbing the tallest towers just to be able to look out into the gorgeously designed cities. Though I have to admit the game does get a little bit receptive at times and hopefully they address that in the new game but to be honest I would still play it endlessly even if they didn’t. Assassins Creed is one of those rare games that can keep me hooked long enough to complete the whole game and all the extra missions too. I can’t wait for this one to be released and I know they wont disappoint.

3. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
MULTIPLAYER! MULTIPLAYER! MULTIPLAYER! there just isn’t a better multiplayer game EVER! If you don’t agree well your probably insane and a halo player too … (sorry I couldn’t help myself). Whether your running straight into the enemy lines with your shotgun fully loaded or hiding in the shadows with a sniper ready to strike the unsuspecting, this game has something for everyone and thats just the multiplayer aspect of it. The single player gaming is always amazing but I’m hoping for co-op this time to make that much better.
“Ya’ll ain’t soldiers y’all a bunch of meter maids!” who can forget the sarge’s constant battery of insults while you rev up your chain saw and charge into the enemy. Blood flying everywhere guts spewing all over the place! Yes its not very lady like I know but I cant help it this game is a classic. Gears of war defined xbox 360 to me and even though Gears of war 2 was just stupid to say the least, part 3 has really made up for it from what I could gather while playing the beta. I usually enjoy multiplayer gaming more than single player story mode but this game has such an amazing storyline and game mechanic that its definitely something to look forward to.
Ah this game defines my childhood. Who hasn’t played one of the Tomb Raider games at some point. The fact that this game has such sentimental value for me make it a definite must watch at E3 but after watching the trailer ….. I practically stuck my face to the screen to see all the details and amazing textures in the game! Its practically a movie! I am defiantly keeping an eye out for this one.
6. Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception
Uncharted 2 was truly an innovation and part 3 seems to be following in its wake. No other game has such a interactive environment that gives off such a cinematic experience! From helicopters chasing you with bullets everywhere to building collapsing while your in them struggling to get a foot hold, this game has it all. The new trailer shows that the new environments are just as dynamic with flames and smoke all over and Drake coughing and trying to maintain his balance through it all. All in all it seems like a great game and I look forward to playing it.
I dont really consider myself a control freak but the fact that you control your characters destiny is really appealing. Unlike most games, the mass effect games have multiple endings and various paths and choices that have direct and indirect repercussions on your characters development and ultimate outcome. I also really enjoy the various character customizations that let you put your unique aspect into the game. Plus I love the fact that your character can be a woman since I’m always stuck playing as a man in most games. Girls play video games too you know!
WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE MADE OF!! seriously the game developers at “irrational games” are something else! No other game comes even close to the Bioshock franchise when it comes to creativity and innovation! In the original Bioshock, the underwater utopia they created was something beyond amazing, and judging by their new trailer, Bioshock 3′s city in the sky is even better, something I didn’t think was even possible.
This games trailer is by far the freakiest and saddest yet most intriguing trailer that I’ve seen in a while I almost cried while watching it. Though the games concept isn’t new, it does seem to really add a twist on a common genre. What really sets it apart from other zombie games is the fact that the game is set in an open world where you could roam freely in any way you wish, unless theres a huge horde of zombies in that direction, thats where you’d generally stay away from. It seems like an interesting game with potential so lets see what happens at E3.
10. Metal Gear Solid: Rising
Every time I think of Metal Gear Solid I remember playing the game on playstation and Solid Snake sneaking around under a cardboard box. Who thinks of this stuff? Even with the weird stealth tactics Metal Gear has always been a legend in the gaming world. Fast forward to 2011 and the Metal Gear Solid franchise is still going strong and with good reason. The new trailer features Raiden in the amazing battle suit slicing through his enemies like butter using the deadly lightning sword. I am a bit skeptical about this game since the franchise as seen some disappointing moments recently but the kid in me is still interested so heres to a successful release.
