Rumor has it that Icefrog, the creator of the popular Warcraft 3 mod is working with Valve to make a DoTA game for them. It seems like they have been working on this project for at least a year now and will be heading to Valve’s Steam platform later on for release. It also does not require a Warcraft 3 game installed as it is a stand alone DoTA game. No tentative name for the title has been released either, and since this is a rumor then take it with a pinch of salt. It’s interesting to see the competition rising between DoTA games such as League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth and now with this rumored project.
In the mean time, we’ll be busy with League of Legends. Yes. It’s that cool.

The good thing about HoN is that they ported the game exactly as it is with a huge change in graphics.
however LoL changed almost everything while keeping the gameplay as it is.
