Bulletstorm and Crysis 2 Demo Impressions

I have always been a fan of Epic Games ever since the first Gears of War! Gears was one of my FAVORITE, if not the ultimate favorite TPS. Not because of the theme, or the pleasure of killing the monsters, but because of the AWESOME controls. I absolutely LOVE the Gears of War series and I’m dying for Gears of War 3.

When Bulletstorm was announced I was thinking about what’s going to be different, I had in mind that it’s going to be like Gears but with different characters. (not that I minded that!! I was still excited!!) Guess what? I WAS WRONG !!! The characters are TWICE as badass and the controls feel different despite the fact that it’s an unreal engine game just like Gears. This game is a MESS!! I LOVE it !!! It’s like this: put Gears of War in a blender, add FPS instead of TPS, and add some ACTION flavors, THERE YOU GO!! YOU HAVE BULLETSTORM!!! I love its ENDLESS action!! yes, this is the kind of game you’d want to play online, solo, or in a party with your friends (offline co-op)! If you love Gears, you wouldn’t regret Bulletstorm! I’m definitely getting this game DAY ONE there’s no questioning that!!! And after playing this game, I am hoping that Gears 3 will have this kind of action!!! Bulletstorm has raised the bar for me!

The first notable thing about the first Crysis was the graphics, which was one reason why this was a PC exclusive game. THAT WAS FRUSTRATING FOR ME CAUSE I DON’T OWN A GAMING PC (YET)!! I was surprised when the second Crysis was announced for the PS3 and the Xbox 360!!! The graphics WERE STILL AMAZING! When I played the demo, I was distracted by how BEAUTIFUL the details are (and get killed :P) The multi-player is addicting and the the extra things you get make you wanna play more and more and more @__@ (NOT GOOD!) this is ALSO a day one buy for me!! :'( and I congratulate Crytek for this marvelous achievement!
