Bethesda released the Creation Kit for Skyrim. They also went beyond that and released a high-resolution texture pack to make your world look even better. More info on how to acquire both after the jump!

along with today’s release of the Skyrim Creation Kit and an official Steam community for collecting and sharing player-created game content, Bethesda has also unleashed an official high resolution texture pack for the game, granting players with the proper processing power unparalleled beauty to go along with their award-winning RPG experience.
Between the tools and the texture pack I’m currently adding another 3.1GB of data to mySkyrim Steam install, so it’s going to be awhile before I see the effects first-hard.
