This blog entry will be about “bad luck” you experienced throughout your gaming life. Whether it’s running out of battery charge for your controller, or console damage accidents, or having a hard time getting or playing a game you want.
One famous accident I’ll never forget (about 3 years ago): I was drinking water from a big bottle, it was night and I was ready to sleep. I had noticed that my laptop had finished charging, so I was like “Oh, I better close it!!” . When I was closing it with my left hand, my right hand was still holding the bottle, and the bottle slowly leaned down making ½ to ¾ of the water pour on the PS3!
LOL! (which was in a horizontal position THANFULLY!), I cried my heart out, freaked out, and I stopped feeling sleepy, but I needed to sleep so grabbed my essential oils for sleep!!! I started wiping the PS3 with kleenex wipes then I accidentally pressed the eject button while wiping LOL which made the disc inside go out and get wet as well. xD It was a hectic night. I didn’t fall asleep! Even one my teachers asked me what was wrong with me the next morning! I was THIS SAD xD HOWEVER, after a week of not turning the console on, my PS3 worked again!! SONY makes monsters, keep it up, guys!!
The Cursed Summer: One summer, I slept over at my bro’s place with my sis-in-law. But then when I was going to came back home I picked up some games my bro had recently bought. I got Condemned 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, and Dead Rising. When I wanted to play Condemned 2, I found the box empty…
why? BECAUSE I FORGOT THE DISC INSIDE MY BRO’S PS3!!!!!! I felt awful because I was looking forward to finishing this game during the remaining time of my summer holiday! Then when I decided to play Ninja Gaiden 2, I opened the box only to find Beautiful Katamari’s disc inside!!! You’d say “it’s alright, play Beautiful Katamari then!” this isn’t alright since I ALREADY own that game!!
LOL!! So the only thing left was Dead Rising 2, so I open the box with CAUTION worrying I’d find another disc inside, or no disc at all, but I found the game’s disc!! That was a BIG relief until I shoved the game inside my 360, and the game refused to work! Why? Region restrictions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOOOOOOL my 360 was PAL and the game was NTSC region and I had no idea this game was region protected!! Seriously, that was frustrating! LOL brining three games and not being able to play any of them LOL!!!
That’s not all! During that summer I felt out of nowhere that I wanted to play Resident Evil: Code Veronica LOL so I asked my brother to get me the game (either the GameCube or the PS2 version, because I had both at home), he looked it up everywhere and couldn’t find it, then he said he might have to order it online for me, which frustrated me! But he was nice enough to buy me the “Resident Evil Essentials” which is a PS2 collection that contains 3 Resident Evil games, RE: Code Veronica, RE4 and RE: Outbreak!! You know what happened next? the PS2 I had at home was PAL while the games were NTSC!! LOL!!!
I’m not done yet!! xD During my stay at my brother’s place, I wanted to play PS2 games I played before, and some I didn’t get to try. But all he had was backup (copied) games, and the only PS2 he was having in possession at that moment was not modded! How perfect is that!!!???! xD WORST summer EVER! xD
That’s what came to my mind now! How about you?! Share your bad luck moments!! Share what made you angry or disappointed! Share your accidents! :D

Reminds me of my Game Gear when I plugged in the wrong power adapter. I never played the Game Gear again…
Good read, was funny and unfortunate throughout. Keep it up, Hamda. :)
Thanks a lot ^__^ LOL!! Poor Game Gear xD I remember once I burnt my brother’s Xbox 360 adapter because I plugged it into my Xbox instead of his Xbox xD (his Xbox is NTSC mine is PAL so he had to use a transformer for the voltage) that messed his adapter up LOL!
