At a conference in London, the developer of Angry Birds announced that they’re bringing their game to all major consoles. They’ll start with the Xbox 360 and the Wii, then eventually working their way to PS3, DS and the PSP. This is a great example for when an iPhone app turns into a multi-platform success.
CEO Peter Vesterbacka, of Rovio – whose publishing partner, Chillingo, was bought up by Electronic Arts recently, also shot down thoughts of an “Angry Birds 2” sequel on its original. But comments made at London’s Social Gaming Summit, reported via Twitter, say a version for the game will be coming to the Xbox 360 and the Wii, joining the PS3, PSP and DS to round out Angry Birds’ presence on all major platforms.

They are also thinking of bringing up a story variation for Angry Birds from the pigs’ point of view.
