2011 has passed and brought us awesome games, it did not disappoint! It’s time for us now to look forward and see what 2012 holds for us gamers, 2012 is the year with many games we’ve been promised. I decided to list SOME of the games I’m excited for, and SOME of the games I’d really like to see how would they turn out.
Please note that I might have forgotten things to add in this list. The list is randomly generated, not ordered by priority.
Twisted Metal
One of the biggest announcements in E3 2010 will now be in our hands; we’ll finally get to experience a next-gen Twisted Metal! It should be EPIC!
Soul Calibur V
I’ve always been a fan of SC, and it’s been a while since SCIV was out, which I absolutely enjoyed. I remember when it first came out, I convinced my brother to get it for me, I kept showing him videos, trailers, and he still wasn’t convinced, until I told him “DAMNIT THIS IS THE GAME WE PLAYED ON DREAMCAST, NOW GET IT FOR ME” and this is when he got it LOL! Sometimes gamers like him need friendly reminders of what they used to play xD
Lollipop Chainsaw
A game by Suda51…that is funny…and has a girl as the main character…who uses a pink chainsaw and murders zombies? SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!!
The Darkness II
Who else loves Jackie Estacado like I do? Starbreeze won’t develop this sequel like they did the first one, but Digital Extreme will (the developers of Dark Sector) but I don’t really mind that, Dark Sector was a solid shooter for me, the only bad thing about it was the cheesy characters and the “weak” story. (I personally didn’t find it weak, game reviewers did), but the gameplay was not bad. Also, we won’t have to worry about stories or anything, The Darkness II will be based on the comic too (right?)
Resident Evil Revelations
Damn it, Capcom, if you’re going to make a sequel to RE5, make it on console! Errr I might have to buy a 3DS for this one
Silent Hill HD Collection and Devil May Cry HD Collection
I’m loving the idea of HD collections, it just..brings us back! When I downloaded Resident Evil Code Veronica on XBL, I felt 10 years old <3 I want that feeling again
Doom 4
What more to say? About..freaking..time?
Halo 4
That one game that made me scream while watching E3!!! Halo 4 is the beginning of a whole new Halo trilogy <3 can’t wait <3
Grand Theft Auto V
Do I really need to talk? Even my sister who’s not a gamer is excited for this!! I missed killing random people in streets! I didn’t get to do that in LA Noire, and I want to do it NOW!
Spec Ops: The Line
It has been so long since it was announced I don’t even remember when! I’m mainly excited because of the setting of the game. The processors of The Line in this series didn’t do that well but it dressers a second chance this generation.
Street Fighter X Tekken
That game will sell twice as Street fighter and Tekken separated!! Why? Because it will attract BOTH SF fans and Tekken fans, I really really really can’t wait for it!! I played the demo at GAMES11 and it was awesome! Never excepted less from Yoshinori Ono! PS Yoshinori-sama: I want a new Dino Crisis :”)
Dragon’s Dogma
From what we’ve see so far, the game looks really good. I always welcome new IPs, and this one looks gorgeous! Can’t wait to see how it turns out
The Last of Us
Only one trailer of this game, and I’m sold!
BioShock Infinite
I think the BioShock series will change after this game, from now on, I think the game will take different settings in each game, I like that. I also love Elizabeth!
Silent Hill: Downpour
Because this generation needs more horror games, I keep saying that!
And finally, the 2 games I’m going to play, and enjoy, and treat as SPIN OFFS, Metal Gear Revengeance and Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City!
