LOL, The drawing idea remindes me of this http://www.doodletoo.com/#/rooms except for PC’s.
6afek SSX elly gabel even more better than this one even because of how stylish and over the top it was. While this is over the top it doesn’t feel like the old SSX’s, Specifically http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlY6kcQblZg SSX tricky, was the shit. Have great memories about this game.
Tribes ascend, i have seen the old game and didn’t really play it but the new one looks neat wouldn’t mind trying it but i am really sick of FPS’s even if this one is more Unreal Tournament like which is very few this gen infact there isn’t any like it, lool. But im just sick of FPS’s so that’s why it’s a pass for me but i acknowledge that it does look good.
As for Journey, It’s one of the most unique and memorable experience i have played in a looooooooooong time. Best 15$ i spent on a downloadable ever. It’s a really short game like 2 hours – 3 maximum with exploration but it is very memorable and one that encourages many play-throughs. There are Easter eggs of their previous games and also many stuff to collect like the unique glowing symbols which let you then change your original 3abayah to a white one that recharges your jump automatically. There are also many jaw dropping moments, The graphics and art-style are really something to behold.
The people who wear the white 3abayah are considered helpers/elders from what i read so if you pass by anyone who is wearing that i am sure they are considered to help and show you all the collectible things you need in the game. If you think about it, it really is awesome how people are willing to play the game just to help other new comers ( http://www.gamespot.com/journey/forum/sign-if-youre-a-helpful-white-cloak-62263284/ ). Not only that but each time you complete the journey new pattern design on your 3abayah which will tell that you completed the came one/twice/thrice.etc
It’s ironic that my second play-through was way better then the first one because i got the game mechanics down to a T and it was very enjoyable to play with someone who finished the game and we got to fly while giving each other musical notes so that we charge each other, we basically flew every stage without touching the ground most of the time, amazing.
The ending from what i heard is real time (which is amazing if true) All in all, an amazing and unforgettable experience. When you finish the game, it tells you who you meet on your journey, in each level you may find someone at random times but it never lets you be with 3 or 4 other players, it’s always only you and one other player that’s it in that particular level and if you stuck with him/her then you will only be with him/her to the end but if you managed to go to the next level without him you may meet someone else so it’s always random if your not stuck with someone but it’s never 3 – 4 players at the same time.
It’s games like this that reminds me why i love gaming. It really is a hard game to explain but i encourage everyone to try it as it’s a must try experience and really is a beautiful piece of interactive art. It also is a game that never gets boring because each playthrough will be very fresh because of the people you meet on your journey each with a different thing or different way to communicate then the player before.
Overall, must own. 10/10, Best downloadable ever.
Thinking about it now, i hope people pay for this then Crapcom’s 20$ on disk DLC, LOL.
Journey is absolutely stunning, I agree. My experience, which I promptly described in the podcast can never be duplicated by anything else.
Also about SSX, I never tried the older ones but I liked this one. Maybe my hunger for a similar experience to Cool Boarders 2 was satisfied by trying this game and how I pretty much passed up on whatever came before so that’s why I saw a lot in the new SSX.
I picked up the full game and I really like it so far. My opinion about it has not changed.
Yup, still playing it, will probably play it till the end of the year. Something tells me ako shay hidden for those who complete the game so many times, lol but that’s just me.
This one is good from what i played, infact great it stayed to the originals except for the artstyle, i prefer the cartoonish style. About missing out the old titles is just one thing is that everything is now new to you, for me when i played it most of the stuff i saw in SSX tricky and what made me love the demo is that how the idea was still the same and it made me really nostalgic. What i dislike is just the artstyle but that’s a personal preference.
If the old games are really good then i have no doubt the new sequel, i was VERY addicted to SSX tricky, it is known that it is the best in the series.
Yeah the art style doesn’t really bother me, I care for the gameplay in this game and SSX got it right. Kudos to the dev team.
http://www.gamespot.com/ridge-racer-2012/reviews/ridge-racer-review-6350809/ Only this is need to be said about Ridge racer, they are trying to go the capcom way hardcore style. But they missed one thing…. they don’t have that a big fanbase of a fighting game let alone people who love getting ripped off, lol.
As I mentioned in the podcast, their biggest fanbase is in Japan. I remember Europe also has a large portion. Sales figures for this title in particular should be a good wake up call for them.
قواكم الله على الحلقه ^^ استمتعنا فيها والله

My best Journey’s so far, enjoying the view and having random people join me, LOL.

I learned many other new things in Joruney now that i played it more. The story itself is a metaphor, what’s great about it is that it is open to interpretation. When you press circle to chirp, each person you meet, even you, will have a different logo attached to him/her so always learn the logo when you meet someone as they chirp, that way you can know who he/she is when you finish the game and it shows the companions you meet on your journey.
Also, it boasts one of the greatest soundtracks released in a loooong time. I really hope more people listen and appreciate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBDoUtmubRU < This one is my favourite.
Also, check here for the complete soundtrack put up by the composer himself.
