I’m not sure if you’re asking “which indie games do we like” or “what we like in indie games” so I’ll answer both.
What I like in indie games is, unlike professional games, developers are free to make games the way they want, not the way the clients want. A.K.A. the freedom of creativity.
A good example would be the Touhou series and Eternal Fighter Zero. Both from Japanese indie developers that are on par with professional games of the same genre if not better.
Helloo and yes long long time :D… Indie games are cool, creative, and most importantly unique…thats what i like of them…and most of the indie games i love are on the iphone

im not a big fan of indie games, but i respect that kind of category in the gaming industry. i also think that its the best and suitable kind of games for little kids to have play rather than letting them play hardcore games not suitable for their age.
i also think in my opinion that indie games are a good start to whoever wants to get into gaming as a beginner and progress to hardcore games in the future.
